Kindcentrum de Tol

Kindcentrum De Tol is an open Christian child centre located in the Zuid-Es district of Zuidlaren. At our temporary address on Julianalaan 78 we provide daycare (KDV) for children aged 0 to 4. We are part of CKC Drenthe and operate from one shared vision: children thrive in a safe environment where attention, trust, responsibility and wonder are central values. Our professional staff create a homely atmosphere in which every child feels seen and safe. For the youngest ones we provide bottle feeding, freshly prepared hot meals, fruit and healthy snacks. We work with horizontal groups so babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers play and learn in age-based groups. Each group has its own sleeping room with cots and bedding; babies rest in a quiet separate area. Daily activities are tailored to the child’s developmental stage: singing and making music, reading in our cosy book corner, creative crafts with various materials, outdoor play in the nature garden and exploring the sandpit. We follow the Early Childhood Education programme ‘Startblokken’ to stimulate language, numeracy and social skills through play. Regular excursions to the library or petting farm are organised. Everything we do is recorded in the parent portal KidsKonnect, keeping parents informed of their child’s experiences. Parents are always welcome for a tour. Together we ensure your child comes to De Tol with a smile and returns home happy.
