Kindcentrum de Scharmhof

Welcome to Kindcentrum de Scharmhof, located at Scharmbarg 1 in Assen. We are part of CKC Drenthe and provide daycare and early development for children aged 0 to 4 years in our three KDV groups. Our focus is on creating a safe, familiar environment where every child can develop at their own pace. Our baby and toddler groups follow the national development programme Uk & Puk. Through play, children are challenged in language, motor skills, social interaction and creativity. We address all areas of development: cognitive, social-emotional, motor and creative. For the youngest children we have four separate sleeping rooms with cribs to ensure rest and routine. Outdoors we have our own secure playground where children can run, explore and play with natural materials. We regularly organise short excursions in the local area and use our reading corner for story time. Our qualified childcare staff specialise in guiding young children and track each child closely through our digital parent portal. Parents can view photos and reports and communicate directly with the group through this portal. Children are welcome from 0 to 4 years old. We offer both full and half-day care. Nappy changes, bottle feeding, fruit and drinks are included. In case of food allergies we adjust the menu in consultation with parents.
