Welcome to daycare De Meerstromen, part of Kindcentrum De Meerstromen in the heart of Groede. We are located in the renewed school building at Monnikenstraat 3, where our babies and toddlers aged 0-4 have their own safe group room with direct access to a specially designed outdoor play area and a separate baby garden. Children can play and explore outside to their heart’s content. Our childcare professionals work according to a horizontal group structure, allowing children to play and learn in age groups. The spacious, bright group room includes a separate sleeping area where the youngest can rest peacefully. Through French doors, toddlers can step onto the kindergarten playground, complete with sandbox and play equipment, where they can play alongside the kindergarteners. This connection creates a seamless transition between toddlers and kindergarteners, making the move to primary school later smooth and familiar. We provide care from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. During school holidays, we remain open according to the same schedule. Extended opening hours are available upon request. Parents can choose how many days and which hours they need; half-days are always negotiable. Our vision is that every child is unique and develops at their own pace. We offer a safe, familiar environment where children can discover, grow, and learn through play. We implement Early Childhood Education (ECE) to optimally support children’s language and speech development. Additionally, we encourage motor development through daily outdoor play and movement. Our childcare professionals are professionally trained and ready to give your child a warm, loving day.
