Welcome to Kibeo Kloosterstraat 10 in Achthuizen, where we partner with RKBS De Achtsprong to offer a safe and familiar place for toddlers aged 2 to 4. Our toddler group is located inside the primary-school building, making the eventual move to kindergarten extra smooth. Each morning starts with free play in our cheerful corners: a construction area, a home corner, a craft table and, of course, a picture-book corner. One consistent pedagogical employee also works at the school, so your child always sees a familiar face. Outside there is a spacious garden with climbing frames, bikes and a sandpit. Toddlers can run, climb and explore to their hearts’ content. We sing together, count blocks, paint with thick brushes and practise fine-motor skills by threading beads. Everything is done through play, exactly as it should be at this age. Our early-years education (VVE) is woven into the daily routine: we learn colours while sorting fruit, practise initial letters during story time and discover shapes in the sand. You can choose half or full days, whatever suits your family best. We follow a clear daily rhythm: play, eat fruit, play some more, listen to a story and then quietly settle on the mats in our sleeping area. Safety comes first: the building has a secure entrance and all our pedagogical staff hold a valid first-aid certificate.
