Welcome to SamSam KDV Van Baerle, our daycare centre in the heart of Amsterdam-Zuid. We provide care for up to 28 children aged 0 to 4 years in a warm, homely atmosphere. Our team of experienced pedagogical staff work according to the core values Together, Unique, Responsible and Expression. We believe every child is unique and therefore encourage the children’s own initiatives. Our location is divided into two horizontal groups: a baby group (0-2 years) and a toddler group (2-4 years). In the baby group we follow your child’s rhythm and provide calm, respectful care. For the toddler group we work with themes that connect to the children’s world of experience. We use natural materials and go outside every day; nature is our greatest teaching resource. In addition, we offer early childhood education (VVE) using the Uk & Puk programme, through which we prepare toddlers for primary school in a playful way.
