Kids2b psz 'De Paddestoel'

Welcome to Kids2b psz ‘De Paddestoel’, our homely daycare centre at Foelkiusstraat 2 in Bedum. As part of the Kids2b organisation – active in the north of Groningen for more than 30 years – we provide care for up to 32 children aged 0 to 4 at this location. We have been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since 1 January 2017 under number 238719467. We work according to the pedagogical vision ‘Growth through connection’. This means we see every child for who they are and offer a safe yet challenging environment in which they can discover their own talents through play. Our three focus areas are nutrition & exercise, outdoor time and language. Every day we provide healthy meals, plenty of room to move both indoors and outdoors, and a language-rich environment in which we read aloud, sing and talk with the children. Our spacious, naturally designed garden – our ‘Vitamin G’ – invites exploration and play. When the weather is nice we spend a lot of time outside; we offer picnic and sand-/water tables and let the children romp on the grass. We also regularly make use of the green surroundings of Bedum for short walks. Inside we work in horizontal groups, so activities are perfectly tailored to your child’s age and developmental stage. The youngest children have separate bedrooms with cots and cribs; toddlers get a quiet corner with beds. All nap times are aligned with your child’s rhythm. Communication with parents runs smoothly via our Parent App. The team shares photos, reports and messages so you stay informed about your child’s day. You can also use the app to quickly and easily pass on information or ask questions.
