KDV Van Harte

Welcome to KDV Van Harte, located in the heart of Houten's Old Village. We are part of Stichting Kind & Co Ludens and provide childcare for children aged 0 to 4 years in a warm, homely environment. Our location at Loerikseweg 11a is part of the Integral Child Center Van Harte, where we collaborate with the primary school and other forms of childcare within the same building. At KDV Van Harte, we work according to the Pedagogical Heart of Kind&Co ludens. This means we give children space to be themselves and discover who they are. We believe that play is discovery and learning, and therefore offer a rich, inspiring environment where children can safely develop. Our pedagogical staff are ready to give children confidence and space for curiosity and development. We work with different groups: a baby group for children 0-2 years, a toddler group for 2-4 years, and a vertical group where children aged 0-4 play and learn together. This setup offers flexibility and ensures that each child receives the care and attention that suits their development. For the youngest ones, we provide quiet sleeping areas and take care of bottle feeding and fresh fruit. The toddler group works with the Uk & Puk method, through which we playfully work on language development, social skills, and motor skills. Our location has a spacious garden where children can play to their heart's content. We spend a lot of time outdoors: climbing, scrambling, cycling, and discovering nature. Annually, we organize a forest walk or visit the petting zoo. We conclude the year with a cozy summer party, sometimes at our own location, sometimes at playground 'De Bergjes' in Houten. KDV Van Harte is a location with preschool education (VE). For children with a VE indication, we pay extra attention to the Dutch language: speaking, listening, and learning new words.
