KDV Sir Winston Churchilllaan

Welcome to KDV Sir Winston Churchilllaan, a homely and small-scale daycare centre in the heart of Rijswijk. We provide care for up to 22 children aged 0 to 4, divided into two groups: the baby group Boemba’s (0-2 years) and the toddler group Baloetjes (2-4 years). Our dedicated childcare staff have all received baby-care training and, together with our pedagogical coach, form a close-knit team that is ready for your child every day. Each child is assigned a permanent mentor who closely follows development and works with you. We work closely with the kindergarten groups of the Godfried Bomansschool. Toddlers from the age of 3 already practise at the after-school care location and take part in a play morning with the kindergarteners once a quarter. In this playful way they become familiar with the school environment, making the transition to primary school smooth and stress-free. Our location has a spacious, secure garden where children can go outside every day. We believe in the power of outdoor play and therefore offer plenty of space to explore, move and grow in a familiar, warm environment.
