KDV Het Witte Toverhuisje is located in a charming, converted farmhouse at Hoofdweg 247 in the heart of Bellingwolde. Our daycare centre is part of De Witte Tovertuin, a small-scale organisation that was born from the belief that children can only grow and flourish in an environment where they feel safe and secure. Step by step we have grown, and today – together with our close-knit team – we fully support the concept: small-scale, personal and with full attention for every child. Everything we do revolves around calm, space and trust. We work with two vertical groups under one roof. The youngest children (0-2 years) have their own cosy room with a maximum of 12 places. Here babies and toddlers can sleep, play and discover in complete peace. The toddler group (2-4 years) has a maximum of 16 places and offers plenty of room for play, movement and development. Thanks to the open layout – we operate an ‘open doors’ policy with stair gates and open windows – children and pedagogical staff can always see and hear each other. In this way the children experience real connection and everyone feels part of one big Tover family. Our pedagogical staff are experienced, qualified and work in accordance with the Childcare CAO. They hold a valid Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG), first-aid and emergency response certificates and a certificate on the reporting code for child abuse. Above all, they love their profession and give that extra bit of personal attention your child deserves. The interests of your Pearl(s) and good contact with you as a parent are always our top priority. Around the farmhouse is a safe, green garden where children can run, play and explore to their heart’s content. We believe it is important for children to spend as much time outside as possible; fresh air and natural stimuli contribute to healthy development.
