Welcome to KDV Het Bosavontuur, our small-scale daycare center in the heart of South Limburg's Epen. We are part of Humankind, an organization with over 100 years of experience in providing care and support to children and families. At our location at Schoolstraat 16, we provide care for a maximum of 16 children aged 0 to 4 years, with personal attention and a homely atmosphere at the core. Our daycare is located in a characteristic building that perfectly matches the forest-rich environment of Epen. The location is carefully furnished with different living spaces tailored to the developmental needs of babies and toddlers. We work with horizontal groups, where babies and toddlers are cared for separately to optimally meet their specific needs and developmental stages. At Het Bosavontuur, we believe in the power of nature for the development of young children. Our name is no coincidence - we make daily use of the beautiful natural environment that Epen has to offer. The children regularly go on discovery tours in the forest, where they playfully learn about nature and stimulate their senses. This nature experience is an essential part of our pedagogical offering. We provide pre-school education (VE), where we work on the development of language, math, and social skills in a playful way that connects with the world of experience of young children. Our pedagogical staff are specially trained to provide this developmental stimulation within the daily care routine. Care is available Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. We offer both full and half-day care, trying to think flexibly with parents' wishes. Our small scale ensures that each child receives the personal attention they deserve and that parents become familiar with our regular faces. At Het Bosavontuur, we find it important that children feel safe and secure, so they can develop optimally. We work closely with parents to best match the home situation and the individual needs of each child.
