KDV De Wildernis

Located at Olmenwede 1 in Barendrecht, KDV De Wildernis is part of the child centre surrounding primary school De Trinoom. We provide loving day-care for children aged 0–4 in a green, secure setting with a large garden where outdoor play, gardening and movement are key. Our single toddler group follows the Montessori principle: ‘Help me to do it myself!’. Each child receives individual guidance and is paired with a dedicated mentor who closely tracks development. An annual parent conversation is scheduled, and during the intake you meet your child’s mentor. A pedagogical coach supports our close-knit, stable team with training and guidance, so you always see familiar faces. We use the VVE programme Uk & Puk. Its themes appeal to toddlers and stimulate language and speech development. We deliberately keep groups small: quality over quantity. Opening hours are 7 a.m.–6 p.m. You can choose full or half-day care (7 a.m.–12.30 p.m. or 12.30 p.m.–6 p.m.), 52 weeks a year, closed only on official public holidays.
