KDV De Schakel

Welcome to KDV De Schakel, part of Christelijke Kinderopvang Kleurrijk located at De Ketting 8 in Dronten. We provide Christian daycare for children aged 0 to 4 years in a homely and safe environment. Our location is small-scale: we have room for a maximum of 16 children, ensuring each child receives the personal attention they deserve. We operate from the conviction that every child is valuable and deserves to feel loved. Our team of experienced childcare professionals guides the children with joy in their development. We offer preschool education (VE) to toddlers aged 2 to 4, where we stimulate language, motor skills, and social skills in a playful manner. Activities are tailored to the child's age and developmental stage. Through our collaboration with the adjacent De Schakel primary school, children become familiar with the school environment at an early age. They regularly visit the early grades, meet the teachers, and participate in joint activities. This makes the transition to primary school familiar and natural. Our spaces are atmospherically decorated and inviting for play and discovery. We have a safe outdoor area where children can romp and experience nature. We believe it's important that children have space to discover possibilities and develop creativity. As Christian childcare, we express our identity by teaching children that they are unique and valuable. We celebrate Christian holidays and tell Bible stories in a child-friendly way. Parents are warmly welcome to participate in our activities and together with us form a close-knit community.
