Day-care centre De Ukkies is located inside Christian primary school De Rank on Campus Noord in Wezep. We provide care on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday mornings for babies and toddlers up to 2 years old. Our group room is cheerfully arranged with different play corners and we have a lovely playground where we love to play outside. We use the recognised Early Childhood Education programme Uk & Puk. This pre-school education stimulates your child’s development in language, motor skills, social-emotional growth and creativity. Thanks to the close cooperation with primary school De Rank, the transition from day-care to pre-school and later to school is smooth and familiar. Our experienced pedagogical staff create a safe and stimulating environment. We pay great attention to each individual child and maintain close contact with parents. Every morning starts with a calm welcome, followed by activities such as reading aloud, singing, crafting and outdoor play. In between, there is time for bottle feeding, fruit and a rest in our separate sleeping room. Parental involvement is important to us. We schedule a meeting every quarter with ECE parents, joined by the CJG and our ECE coordinator. You receive the stimulation plan digitally and we keep you informed of your child’s development through short daily messages. Together we ensure that your baby or toddler can develop optimally in a familiar, Christian environment.
