KDV De Eik

Welcome to KDV De Eik, located at Burgemeester Willemeplein 3 in Nieuwstadt. Our daycare is part of Kindcentrum De Eik: a bright, spacious and newly-built integrated child centre where care and education come together under one roof. Children from 6 weeks up to 4 years are warmly invited to play, discover, learn and experience adventures with us. Movement is central at KDV De Eik. We have our own indoor gym where we organise fun movement games and romp every day. With our ‘Kiddybus’ – a large pushchair – we regularly head outside to enjoy fresh air and explore the natural surroundings next to the centre. The location is situated on the edge of Nieuwstadt, right next to sports facilities and a large nature reserve – the perfect spot for outdoor play and discovery. We operate two horizontal groups for children aged 0 to 4. Through cross-group activities we encourage each child to gain new experiences at their own pace. When your child is ready, he or she can already get acquainted with the toddler care or take a look at the after-school care – all under the same roof. KDV De Eik offers Early Childhood Education (VVE), allowing your child to work on language, numeracy and social skills in a playful way.
