KDV De Appelboom

KDV De Appelboom – Banneplein is a small-scale daycare centre run by the independent Amsterdam organisation De Appelboom. Located at Banneplein 111 in Amsterdam-Noord, we provide care for up to 60 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our homelike premises are child-friendly, safe, clean and cosy. We organise both vertical and horizontal groups so every child can develop at his or her own pace. At De Appelboom the personal approach to parent and child comes first. We follow the guidelines of the GGD and the Childcare Act; inspections take place annually and the reports are publicly available. We also draw up an annual risk assessment for Safety and Health. Our pedagogical staff are professional and caring; parents say dropping off their child feels like leaving them with a trusted sister. Besides full-day care, half-day care is possible.
