KC de Kern

At KC de Kern in the Kernhem district of Ede, we provide daycare for the youngest children from 0 to 4 years old. Our location is situated at Kleine Houtplein 1, next to primary school De Kern, with which we closely cooperate as Kindcentrum De Kern. We are a warm, cozy and safe environment where children learn and discover through play. In our pleasant and bright space, young children feel safe and at ease. For babies, we have a designated baby garden where they can move freely. Outside, children can enjoy riding bikes and scooters, building sandcastles in the sandbox, playing in our tipi or climbing on the climbing poles. We work with a vertical group where children of different ages play and learn together. For your child's development, we use the preschool education method Uk & Puk. This method stimulates your child's broad development through active play. The doll Puk is your child's playmate (the Uk). The Uk & Puk method covers ten themes that connect with the world of experience of babies, toddlers and preschoolers. Each theme includes activities that fit into daily life and contribute to language development, social-emotional development, motor and sensory development, and math stimuli. We believe that raising children is something we do together. By lovingly raising, caring for and guiding children, we stimulate them in their development.
