Welcome to childcare centre de Eerste Rith, located at Hovenierstraat 54 in Breda. As part of Kober childcare, we provide daycare for children aged 0 to 4 at this location. We work with horizontal groups, grouping children by age. Our professional staff create a safe and familiar environment where every child is given space to grow and develop. Everything we do revolves around play, discovery and development. We offer a rich variety of activities tailored to young children: from singing and making music to crafts and story time. We work thematically, for example around themes like ‘Giants and Gnomes’ or ‘What are you wearing today?’, through which language, motor skills and social abilities are stimulated in a playful way. Outside, there is plenty of space to play in our natural garden with sandpits, a water track and a slide-climb hill. Our care is all-inclusive: nappies, food and drinks, fruit and healthy snacks are included in the hourly rate. We take allergies and special needs into account. Through the Parent App, we keep parents updated daily on their child’s experiences. We offer early childhood education (VVE), for which a referral from the child health clinic is required. This helps children start primary school well-prepared. We are open four days a week, both mornings and afternoons. Our location is small-scale and easy to oversee, with its own sleeping area and a cosy reading corner. We work closely with primary school de Eerste Rith, together forming a child centre. This allows children to become familiar with the school environment at an early age, making the transition to kindergarten smoother.
