Welcome to Kober Peutergroep Lavoor, located on the ground floor of primary school Lavoor at Heulberg 71 in Roosendaal. We provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 years in a safe, small-scale environment. Our toddler group is open three mornings a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) and works closely with the primary school, ensuring a smooth transition later on. Play-based learning is central to our approach. We offer a rich variety of activities that match the curiosity and developmental stage of toddlers: from finger painting and building to singing, reading aloud and gym. Pedagogical staff member Sofia says: “Toddlers are curious; it’s the perfect moment to playfully introduce concepts like colours and shapes.” We use themes that connect to the child’s world of experience, thereby stimulating language, motor and social-emotional development. Our spacious, bright group room invites exploration and play. The layout is carefully tailored to the age group: there are corners for building, arts and crafts, role play and quiet moments. Direct access to a secure outdoor play area makes it possible to spend lots of time outside; building huts, making sandcastles or simply running around and playing in the fresh air. Kober is a professional organisation with more than 200 locations in West-Brabant, yet here you experience the small-scale, familiar character. Parents can drop in for a chat and children recognise the familiar faces. We offer VVE programmes (pre-school education) for children with an indication, giving every toddler the best possible start.
