KDV Kakelbont

KDV Kakelbont is a warm and trusted daycare centre located at Veldkamp 33 in Harderwijk, part of Stichting Kinderspeelzalen Harderwijk (SKH). We provide care for up to 16 children in a vertical group for ages 0 to 4. Our location is situated on the grounds of primary school Willem Alexander, offering a safe and familiar environment where children feel at home. At Kakelbont, we work from a clear pedagogical vision: the well-being of the child is central. We believe children learn and develop best through play, at their own pace. Our professional staff create a homely atmosphere where children feel safe and secure. We follow consistent daily routines, with rest, regularity and recognition as key pillars. This contributes to a pleasant and predictable environment for young children. We offer pre-school education (VE), stimulating children's language and cognitive development in a playful way. This includes reading aloud, singing and creative activities. We also emphasise outdoor play. We have our own outdoor play area where children can run, explore and move every day. We go outside even in less favourable weather, as fresh air and natural stimuli are essential for development. Parent involvement is very important to us. We have daily contact at drop-off and pick-up times and invite parents for discussions and festive moments. We work with a parent committee that contributes ideas about the development of our childcare. Together, we create a place where children enjoy coming and where parents can leave their child with peace of mind.
