It Boartersplak

Welcome to It Boartersplak, our warm and loving daycare centre located at Herweystrjitte 49 in Ternaard. As part of Stichting Kinderopvang Friesland, we provide small-scale childcare for up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our home-like setting offers a safe place where your child can explore, play and grow at his or her own pace. Our professional staff follow a clear daily rhythm that brings structure and calm. Each morning begins together with parents; there is time for a hand-over and a brief chat before the children wave goodbye and start their adventures in our indoor and outdoor play areas. Free play is central to our approach because we believe children learn best when they are free to follow their own curiosity. Language development is woven into every moment. We speak 80 % Frisian with the children and reinforce both Frisian and Dutch through themed storytelling, songs and rhymes. After a shared fruit break we offer a short activity linked to the current theme, followed by outdoor play in our garden where children can run, climb and discover. In bad weather we use the indoor gym. We value close cooperation with parents. At the end of each session there is always time for a personal conversation about how the day went.
