KDV IKC Stadskwartier

Welcome to KDV IKC Stadskwartier, located at Catharinastraat 9 in the heart of Meppel. We are part of Kindcentrum Stadskwartier, a place where children from 0 to 12 years can find education and care under one roof. Our daycare specifically focuses on children from 0 to 4 years old and has capacity for up to 42 children. We emphasize a continuous developmental line. From the building, children can already see the kindergarten classrooms, making the transition to elementary school later feel familiar and small. We work intensively with the pedagogical staff from toddler care and after-school care within one close-knit team. There is continuous coordination on pedagogical approach and activities, ensuring your child always receives the right guidance that matches his or her development. Our daycare is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:15 PM. Care from 7:00 AM is possible upon request. We offer preschool education (VVE), stimulating your child's development from an early age. This is done in a playful way, tailored to the world of experience of young children. The location is housed in a monumental school building that has been completely restored and expanded with two brand-new buildings around a cozy square. Children can play and discover safely here. We believe it's important that children feel seen and heard in a safe environment, so they can develop optimally.
