IKC Sloterdijk

Welcome to the daycare center of IKC Sloterdijk, located in the sustainable residential complex Floating Gardens in the heart of a green, inspiring neighborhood in Amsterdam Sloterdijk. We provide warm, loving daycare for children aged 0 to 4 years in a familiar environment where children feel free to explore and discover. Our daycare center works intensively with education and after-school care at one location. This unique concept creates a continuous learning line from 0 to 13 years, where not age or group, but your child's development is central. The youngest children grow up in a safe environment where they playfully meet other children of different ages. We work with three groups: Purple and Yellow are our baby groups (0-2 years) and Green is our toddler group (2-4 years). Additionally, we also offer vertical groups where children aged 0 to 4 play and learn together, just like at home in a family. This flexible group structure allows us to optimally meet the developmental needs of each child. Our pedagogical staff guide and stimulate children in a way that suits their own pace and interests. We offer a rich daily program with attention to language development, numeracy, reading, drawing, singing and movement. These activities take place both indoors and outdoors in our modern, safe facilities. Our care includes diapers, meals, healthy snacks and drinks. For children with special dietary requirements, we ask parents to bring the necessary food. We communicate with parents through the Parent App, through which we share weekly photos of the beautiful moments at daycare. We are open from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, so you can entrust the care of your child to us with peace of mind. IKC Sloterdijk has been officially registered since September 30, 2024 in the National Childcare Register, allowing parents to apply for childcare allowance.
