Basker IKC - Remigius

Welcome to IKC Remigius Daycare, located at Liemersplein 1 in the heart of Duiven. We offer small-scale and homely childcare for babies, toddlers and preschoolers aged 0 to 4 years. Our location is part of the Integral Child Center (IKC) Remigius, which allows us to use all facilities such as the kitchen and activity room. We work closely with the kindergarten classes, enabling toddlers and preschoolers to learn from and with each other. Everything we do revolves around peace, space and development. We use a vertical group structure where children of different ages play and learn together. This stimulates social development and gives younger children the opportunity to learn from older children. For children from 2 years old, we offer the possibility to move to the toddler group, always looking at what suits your child best. We work with the VVE program Startblokken, focused on language and speech development. Toddlers with a VVE indication receive extra support through play and thematic activities. Everything is aimed at preparing children well for primary school. Our experienced pedagogical staff give each child the space to develop at their own pace. In our colorful and homely spaces there is room for 45 children, divided into three groups: a baby group (0-2 years), a vertical group (0-4 years) and a toddler group (2-4 years). We believe it is important that children feel safe and secure. That is why we offer a warm and stable environment with room for relaxation, challenge and fun. Outdoor play is an important part of our daily activities. We have a safe outdoor space where children can romp, discover and play. At IKC Remigius Daycare, food, drinks, diapers and excursions are included. We work with fresh and healthy meals, taking into account any allergies or dietary requirements. We also regularly organize fun outings and activities so that children can discover the world around them. Thanks to childcare allowance or subsidy, the costs remain affordable.
