IKC Juliana

Welcome to De Juultjes, our daycare group within IKC Juliana located at Wethouder Rebellaan 142 in Barneveld. As part of Stichting De Drieslag, we have been providing Christian daycare for children aged 0 to 4 from our new building since 1 November 2018. The name ‘De Juultjes’ refers to our place within IKC Juliana, where childcare, education and after-school care are integrated. We work in horizontal age groups, so your baby, toddler or pre-schooler receives exactly the care and stimuli that suit his or her stage of development. The pedagogical staff of De Juultjes are ready every morning from 07:30 and close the group at 18:00, allowing you to use our childcare flexibly. Our daycare is housed in the same bright, spacious building as the school. The architect used ‘open and sheltered’ as key words: lots of windows and light colours for an open atmosphere, and a house-shaped roof for security. In this way your child experiences a safe environment in which they can be who they are. Outside we have a large, green playground where children can explore, run and play to their heart’s content. At De Juultjes we believe it is important that children know they belong to Jesus and are seen and heard by Him. We tell them about God’s love, pray together and teach children to forgive and respect each other. This Christian identity is tangibly present in our daily interactions, songs and stories. We work with Parro: a user-friendly app through which you receive real-time updates on how your child is experiencing their day. You see photos, read about nap times, meals and the activities we have done. You can also easily report illness or submit holiday requests.
