IKC Het Groene Hart

Welcome to the daycare of IKC Het Groene Hart, located at Schoolbrink 1 in the heart of Zuidwolde. As part of Stichting Wolderwijs, we provide care for children aged 0 to 4 in a warm, safe and loving environment. We work with three distinct groups: daycare for the youngest children, toddler play sessions for 2- and 3-year-olds, and after-school care for older children. Thanks to our IKC structure, our care seamlessly connects with education: we use the same development-oriented method “Onderbouwd”, ensuring a continuous developmental line from baby to preschooler. We focus on the all-round development of your child. We offer Early Childhood Education (VVE), fully funded by Stichting Wolderwijs. This programme targets language, social-emotional, motor and cognitive development. Children who need extra language support are enrolled through the GGD or child health clinic. In the morning the children take part in the VVE programme, after which we share a meal together and continue with an engaging afternoon programme full of play and discovery. Our pedagogical staff work closely with the preschool teachers of the school. This allows toddlers and preschoolers to take part in joint activities and grow up in a familiar environment.
