KDV IKC Anne Frankschool

Welcome to KDV IKC Anne Frankschool, part of Kindcentrum Anne Frank in the Oosterboer district of Meppel. We provide a warm and safe environment where children aged 0 to 4 can grow and develop with love. Our location at K.P.-laan 20 is specially designed for the youngest children and accommodates up to 44 children. Our day starts calmly with floor activities, allowing us to personally greet each child. At 9:30 AM, it's time for fruit, after which children who nap twice go to bed. For the others, we organize VVE activities such as painting, crafts, music-making, or outdoor play in our own garden. After outdoor play, we wash hands and set the table for a communal lunch. After eating, children who nap once go to bed. We operate a special baby and toddler group for children aged 0 to 2/2.5 years. When children are ready, they transition to the preschool group. Children aged 2 to 4 playfully become familiar with daily routines and structure as preparation for school. After the preschool morning, they have lunch with their regular caregiver in their own group, followed by rest or free play. Our pedagogical staff provide activities both individually and in small groups. We maintain an open and involved approach with each child's development at the center. The childcare center is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:15 PM, with care from 7:00 AM available upon request.
