KDV Hummeltjeshof

Welcome to KDV Hummeltjeshof, a small-scale private daycare centre in the heart of Wamel. Since 2017 we have been providing a loving and warm nest for children aged 0 to 4 at Dorpsstraat 21. Our daycare is located in the VTC building and has its own entrance on Dorpsstraat. We work with three groups: the Bengeltjes, the Boefjes and the Bandietjes. The Bengeltjes and Boefjes accommodate children from 0-4 years old, while the Bandietjes cater to children aged 2-4. Having fun is our top priority. We believe that a child should be allowed to be a child. In a homely, cosy and challengingly furnished environment, every child has the space to play and grow at their own pace. We have a wonderful natural playground and a separate baby area, so that all children can play safely outdoors. We also border on a public playground which we regularly use. We encourage development through play. We offer theme-based activities that challenge and stimulate children to keep developing. We love to take trips to the petting zoo or the dike, always in consultation with parents. Our permanent, professional childcare staff are ready for your child every day with great pleasure. By working with permanent staff in fixed groups, we create trust and security. At the same time, we have an open-door policy, where children also get to know other groups and carers. Love, respect and security form the basis of our childcare. We want to be an extension of the upbringing at home and are open to the wishes and ideas of parents. Together we ensure that your child feels safe and welcome with us. KDV Hummeltjeshof is truly a second home for your little one.
