KDV De Kluppies

Welcome to KDV De Kluppies, a small-scale daycare centre located at Kreileroord 222 in Rotterdam IJsselmonde, right next to the Keizerswaard shopping centre. Since 1 January 2023 we have been part of Humankind Childcare and Development, combining our 25 years of childcare experience with a national network that challenges children to grow independently, confidently and with talent. Our location is deliberately small; we care for a maximum of 42 children aged 0 to 4. The homely atmosphere and clear layout ensure that every child is seen and known. Our large, green garden is our pride and joy: every day we go outside to play, explore and move. The garden offers plenty of space for sand, water, bikes and climbing frames, allowing children to explore freely. We do not use fixed age groups. Children from 0 to 4 are mixed together, so the youngest learn from the older ones and the toddlers can be caring and proud of ‘their’ babies. Our pedagogical staff know every child and tailor activities to developmental level and interest. There is room for rest and routine, but also for adventure and challenge. A predictable daily rhythm with fixed rituals gives children structure and security. Parents can choose from various childcare packages: fixed days, flexible hours or a 6-hour session.
