Welcome to Daycare Huibeven, a warm and personal location of Kinderstad right in the Reeshof district. Children aged 0 to 4 are welcome to play, explore and grow at their own pace in a safe, colourful environment. Our daycare has 96 places divided across four groups. Two horizontal baby/toddler groups offer peace and regularity for the youngest; one vertical group lets children aged 0-4 play and learn together; and our preschool group ‘Dwergvlinders’ playfully prepares toddlers aged 2-4 for primary school. We use the nationally recognised Early Childhood Education programme Startblokken, focusing on language, numeracy, motor skills and social-emotional development. Themes and activities always connect to the children’s world of experience. Inside we have a spacious, colourful play hall where all groups can meet. Outside lies our green discovery garden with natural materials, sand, water, bikes and climbing frames: endless play and natural learning. We go outside every day; fresh-air exercise is as important to us as healthy food. Our two healthy-lifestyle coaches make sure seasonal vegetables, fruit and snacks follow the Dutch Nutrition Centre guidelines. Skilled pedagogical professionals guide each child with attention to individual rhythm, interests and developmental needs. We offer creative activities, singing, reading, crafts and building to stimulate language, motor skills and imagination. Nappies, drinks, fruit, healthy snacks and a warm lunch are included. Allergies and special dietary wishes are discussed personally. Daycare Huibeven is ECE-certified, follows a clear pedagogical policy and has broad opening hours (Mon-Fri 07.30-18.30). Curious?
