KDV Hooiman

KDV Hooiman is a welcoming Humankind day-care centre located at Nozemanstraat 71 in the heart of Rotterdam-West. We provide day care for up to 40 children aged 0–4 years. Our horizontal age groups ensure that babies up to about eighteen months and toddlers from two to four years each receive care and stimulation suited to their developmental stage. Guided by Humankind’s philosophy, we give children space to explore, make choices and practise living and working together. The centre is a safe training ground where every child is free to develop at his or her own pace. We run a structured early-education programme (VVE) that fosters language development, social skills and motor development. Our qualified pedagogical staff offer individual attention within a warm, multicultural environment where both children and parents quickly feel at home. Registered in the National Child-care Register since 1 January 2010 (LRK 102680851) and supervised by the GGD Rotterdam-Rijnmond, KDV Hooiman is open Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 18:30. Parents can apply for child-care allowance and have access to our parent portal for practical information and communication.
