Welcome to KDV Hoera Koningslust, Avonturier! We are located at Rect. Isidorusstraat 5 in Koningslust and are part of Stichting Hoera Kindercentra. Since November 16, 2020, we provide care for up to 8 children aged 2 to 4 years. Our toddler group is situated within primary school De Avonturier and uses a dedicated play area separated from the classroom by a wooden playhouse with an upper level. We are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings and operate with a horizontal group structure, where all children in the same age range play and learn together. Our vision is clear: “Every child a star!” We believe every child is unique and deserves to shine in their own way. That’s why we offer pre-school education (VVE), focusing on language, numeracy, motor skills, and social-emotional development. We read stories aloud, ask questions, and invite children to re-enact tales in our themed play corner. This approach fosters curiosity, language skills, and creative expression. Our pedagogical policy is concrete and measurable, supported by an annual training plan to maintain the expertise of our pre-school education staff. Safety and emotional security are our top priorities. We create an environment where children feel emotionally safe and are playfully encouraged to develop their motor, cognitive, and social skills. We actively involve parents in their child’s development and offer a warm, familiar place where children can grow toward independence.
