KDV Het Wollige Schaap

Welcome to Het Wollige Schaap, an agricultural childcare center located in the rural area of Landhorst. Since 2017, we have been providing unique childcare on our special location between meadows and fields. Our daycare facility consists of two groups specifically designed for the youngest children: De Lammetjes (The Lambs) and De Schaapjes (The Sheep), each accommodating up to 16 children aged 0 to 4 years. From our group rooms, children can observe and follow our animals through large windows. In our spacious garden, children playfully discover how animals are cared for daily and how we grow vegetables and fruits in our greenhouse and vegetable garden. We offer daycare 51 weeks per year, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Daycare can only be taken in full days as we highly value peace and structure in our groups. Children benefit from routine and regularity, which helps build safety and trust in the childcare environment. Our rate includes diapers and wipes, bread, fruit, vegetables, drinks, and other snacks. Parents need to bring their own breast milk, formula, or special dietary food. For children under one year, you can bring a vegetable meal. We use Kruidvat diapers and wipes. If you prefer different diapers, please bring them yourself. Children learn to interact respectfully with each other, animals, and nature, forming a solid foundation for the rest of their lives. Time in nature is not wasted time; it's an essential investment in our children's health.
