KDV het Stoerwoud, located at Nieuwegracht 49 in Utrecht, provides daycare for 57 children aged six weeks to four years. We operate five horizontal groups, grouping children by age. Large windows make the centre bright and transparent, allowing every group to see one another and fostering an open, secure atmosphere. Our long-standing team of pedagogical staff delivers a personal, consistent approach. We practise “customised pedagogy”: we observe each child individually and tailor care and activities to their specific needs. Every child receives personal attention so they can develop at their own pace. By offering love, space and clear structure, we help children build self-confidence and preserve their unique personalities. Opening hours are Monday to Friday, 7:45 a.m. – 6:15 p.m. We are closed on national holidays, every five years on 5 May and the day after Ascension Day. On 26 April, 5 December and 24 December we close at 5:00 p.m. During the summer holiday we remain open. Fees include standard formula feeding, meals, drinks and nappies. A limited number of extra days per year is also included. We hold all required municipal licences and meet every statutory standard (LRK registration number 228029983).
