Welcome to KDV het Saffier, part of the integral child centre Het Saffier located at Belvédèrelaan 444 in Zwolle. We are a Christian day-care centre for children aged 0–4, where every child is welcomed into a safe, familiar and loving environment. Our enthusiastic team of Christian pedagogical professionals – including Elselyn, Amanda, Marjan, Suzan, Irene and Marlies – is committed to offering your child a true second home. Your child’s development is at the heart of everything we do. Babies up to one year old follow the rhythm they know from home; from the age of one they join the group rhythm. We use daily-routine cards based on the Pyramid method and work with themes that dovetail with early-years education. Children explore the world through play: they sing, dance, craft, cook a warm meal together with us and discover our spacious, secure outdoor area. We read Bible stories, pray or sing before meals, allowing children to explore their faith in a playful way. Our indoor and outdoor spaces are designed to feel homely yet challenging. There is always room to sleep, play, draw outside the lines or simply get wonderfully messy – because that’s how we learn. We closely monitor each child’s development and share our observations with you during brief annual conversations, at pick-up and drop-off times, and through our digital diary. Parents are irreplaceable partners; we walk this path together. Would you like to register your child?
