KDV Het Palet (peuteropvang 2-4-jaar)

KDV Het Palet (peuteropvang 2-4 jaar) is located within IKC Het Palet at Floris Versterstraat 2b in Leeuwarden. We provide toddler care for children aged 2 to 4 in a specially designed space, guided by certified pedagogical staff from Stichting Kinderopvang Friesland. Our toddler group follows a horizontal structure, where children of similar age play and learn together. We offer toddler care four mornings a week, with the option for children to attend two or three mornings. These sessions are designed to gently prepare toddlers for primary school through play. We follow a rhythm of rest, cleanliness, and regularity, with a strong focus on social and personal development. Each morning includes singing and music-making, as well as themed arts and crafts activities based on the seasons: summer, autumn, winter, and spring. Outdoor play and movement are part of our daily routine. Our facility includes a safe indoor and outdoor space where children can freely explore and play. We maintain a warm, welcoming, and open atmosphere where every child feels at home. We stay in close contact with parents, sharing photos of special moments regularly. Once a year, we organize a joint activity for parents, children, and staff to strengthen our community. We collaborate closely with IKC Het Palet, ensuring a seamless learning journey and warm transition between toddler care and primary education. This makes the move to school smoother and more familiar for your child.
