Het Kleine Paleis

Welcome to "Het Kleine Paleis" Daycare, a warm and small-scale childcare facility in the heart of Berghem. We are located in the charming Piekenhoef at Zonnebloem 7A, where we have been providing loving and attentive care for children aged 0 to 4 years since 2008. Through our conscious choice for small-scale care, we can accommodate a maximum of 5 to 6 children per daycare day, ensuring each child receives the personal attention they deserve. Our approach is designed to provide children with a safe and familiar environment where they can develop optimally. We work with a vertical group structure, where children of different ages play and learn together. This not only stimulates social development but also gives younger children the opportunity to learn from older children, while older children learn to be caring and responsible. The spacious indoor and outdoor areas of our daycare offer plenty of opportunities for discovery and play. We have a beautiful garden where children can romp to their heart's content and discover nature. Inside, we have set up different corners where children can sleep, play or be creative in peace. We believe it's important that children are given space to develop at their own pace and therefore offer activities that match their interests and developmental level. Our activities focus on the development of the whole child. We sing together, make music, do crafts and read aloud. We pay a lot of attention to language development through reading books and singing songs. The older children work playfully on their preparation for primary school through our preschool education program. We believe in learning through play and give children space to discover and experiment on their own. We are open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. During these days, we provide a warm and homely atmosphere where children feel at home. We provide bread meals and healthy snacks and take into account each child's sleep and rest times. For the very youngest, we have separate sleeping areas where they can sleep peacefully in their own familiar rhythm. As a registered daycare facility with the National Childcare Register (registration number 256063576), you can use childcare allowance with us.
