Welcome to Kinderdagverblijf Het Houtsnipnest in Zoetermeer Rokkeveen. Here your child gets all the space to develop at their own pace. We are a healthy childcare centre where good nutrition, lots of exercise and outdoor play are central. At our daycare we provide daily activities that match your child's age, interests and developmental level. These activities are always part of a changing theme. The themes cover topics that are important in your child's life. This way we keep the activities interesting and ensure they contribute to the necessary development to be fully ready for primary school. Outdoor play is not only great fun, it's also super healthy. That's why we try to get fresh air as often as possible. Outside we have a beautiful nature garden. There is a water pump, a climbing frame with slide and various opportunities for movement. The shed is full of fun play materials such as bikes, buckets, shovels and balls. It's a joy every day to see how happy the children are with all these fun things. Inside Kinderdagverblijf Het Houtsnipnest it's also very pleasant. The groups border directly on a spacious hall. We use this for joint activities and celebrations, but also for offering targeted activities in small groups. The room is shared with the after-school care (BSO) and has a homely and calm appearance. There are many corners where children can play to their heart's content. The toys are at eye level, so children can choose for themselves what they want to play with. Besides daily activities, we also do all kinds of special things. We regularly offer PeuterGym - that's really a party! We also walk the annual Peutervierdaagse. Four days of nice walks in Zoetermeer Rokkeveen. This way children learn early on that exercise is healthy and fun. We also pay attention to the National Reading Days and during Children's Book Week parents or grandparents come to read aloud. We read every day anyway. Other favourite days for children are Mud Day, when we play outside and are allowed to get dirty, and when we go to the toddler theatre. Yes, we have a full programme!
