Kindcentrum Het Baken

Kindcentrum Het Baken is located right in the centre of Nijkerk, at Groenestraat 7. As part of SKA child-care, we provide a continuous line of care and development for children aged 0 to 4. In our bright, modern building, education, day-care, pre-school and after-school care all work together seamlessly. This means children can play, grow and learn in one familiar place from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Our day-care centre has its own, specially designed spaces for the youngest children. We operate from one shared vision and one team, focusing on calm, space and regularity. Play-based learning is the foundation of our approach: children discover the world around them through play, movement and exploration. We tailor activities to each child’s developmental stage and offer both individual attention and group activities. For the very youngest we provide a safe, familiar environment where sleeping, feeding and changing follow a gentle routine. Toddlers are challenged with language and motor-skills games, arts & crafts and story time. We use the Social Schools and Kidskonnect apps to keep parents informed of their child’s development and daily experiences. Day-care at Het Baken can be booked for half or full days and flows seamlessly into the pre-school education and primary school housed in the same building. Your child is very welcome!
