Welcome to Het Avontuur Kinderopvang Waalre, our day-care centre at Raadhuisstraat 72 in the heart of Waalre. We provide care for up to 36 children in two horizontal groups: one baby group (0-20 months) and one toddler group (20 months-4 years). Our location is easily accessible, situated in the bend of Raadhuisstraat right on the border of Aalst and Waalre. Discovery-based learning is at the core of our approach. Our professional, well-trained pedagogical staff know every child personally and guide the very youngest step by step in their development. We believe in a safe, familiar yet challenging environment where children can be themselves. Babies play and sleep in calm, homely vertical groups, while toddlers play in horizontal groups with peers of the same age. Our outdoor playground is a natural garden where children can run, climb and explore. For the very youngest there is a separate baby and toddler garden with sand, water and ride-on toys. We use the Early Childhood Education programme Puk & Ko, so toddlers work playfully on language, numeracy and social skills. Nappies are included in the price; formula can be brought from home. Flexible care days are possible and we offer generous opening hours from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Parents experience us as an involved partner in parenting. We keep you informed about your child’s well-being and development through personal contact. Together we ensure that every child makes a powerful start in an environment where they feel safe and seen.
