Hero Kinderdagverblijf Krugerkade

Welcome to Hero daycare Krugerkade, located at Paul Krugerkade 4 in the friendly Transvaal neighborhood of Haarlem. Our daycare is part of Stichting Hero children's centers and provides care for up to 50 children aged 0 to 4 years. Upon entering, you'll immediately experience our large central hall with slide, where toddlers and infants feel right at home. During bad weather, children can play together here while the youngest ones sleep peacefully. Our doors between groups remain open for part of each day, allowing younger and older children to interact naturally and making the transition to the next age group seamless. We work with vertical groups where children of different ages play and learn together. Our nature garden is a special playground where our "little heroes" regularly seek adventure. They can move freely and play outdoors here, contributing to their motor development and discovery of the natural environment. When weather permits, all children play together in this space, where we optimally utilize the outdoor area for both active and quiet activities. Our core values Adventure, Fun, Learning and Attention form the foundation of our pedagogical policy. We believe every child is unique and develops at their own pace. Our dedicated pedagogical staff provide each child with space to develop optimally. We specifically work with the playful Uk and Puk program in our toddler groups, using themes that connect with toddlers' world of experience. This program playfully sparks toddlers' curiosity and provides a beautiful stepping stone toward primary school. Inside, we have a beautiful reading room with a book wall where children can pick out books themselves. We stimulate language development through daily reading and conversations with children. This space offers peace and security, where children can relax with a book or listen to stories together. Our opening hours are from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, providing flexible childcare that accommodates parents' work schedules.
