Welcome to KDV Happy Kids + Peuteropvang de Keent'jes, located in the Brede School Markeent at Sint Jozefslaan 102 in Weert. We are part of Humankind and offer a warm, safe place where children aged 0 to 4 feel completely at home. Our location is within walking distance of Keent shopping center and features a spacious outdoor playground where children can play to their heart's content. Everything we do revolves around your child's development. We work with a clear daily schedule that provides peace and structure, tailored to each child's age and needs. The youngest children follow their own rhythm as much as possible, while toddlers playfully prepare for primary school. We use the VVE method 'Uk en Puk' to stimulate language development, social skills and motor skills. Our pedagogical staff are specially trained in this method and know exactly how to challenge each child at their own level. Every day we offer a varied program full of fun activities. We build the tallest towers together in the construction corner, read books in our cozy corner, sing cheerful songs and regularly go on outings. A visit to the forest or the petting zoo is all part of it - sometimes walking, sometimes with the cargo bike full of happy children. Outdoor play is very important to us, because that's where children can release their energy and discover the world around them. We consider good care to be completely natural. Diapers, wipes, fruit and healthy snacks are included with us. We serve a fresh, hot meal daily and take into account any allergies or dietary requirements. For the youngest children, we provide bottle feeding according to the home schedule. Each child has their own bed for sleeping and we work with fixed core groups so that children have familiar faces around them. At de Keent'jes, you as a parent are central.
