Happy Kids Almere

Welcome to Happy Kids Almere at Zonnebloemweg 74 in Almere-Buiten, a warm and homely daycare centre where children from 6 weeks to 4 years can develop at their own pace. We provide small-scale childcare in six fixed core groups, each child having a familiar place to play, sleep and eat. Our qualified pedagogical staff are ready every day to offer a safe, stimulating environment that feels as much like home as possible. Within our groups we work with a clear daily schedule and use the proven Uk & Puk programme. This method puts play at the centre, because play is discovery and play is growth. For the very youngest we follow the individual rhythm from home; as children grow older they gradually join the regular daily rhythm of the group. Visual daily-rhythm cards help the children understand what their day will look like, providing calm and structure. Our core groups are arranged by age: Ladybirds and Bees (0-2 years), Caterpillars and Butterflies (0-4 years), Dragonflies (1-4 years) and Crickets (2-4 years). Each group has a permanent team of pedagogical staff who guide the child throughout the day. We believe it is important that every child can develop at his or her own pace and that parents can entrust their child to us with peace of mind. Happy Kids Almere is open 49 weeks a year, Monday to Friday from 7.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. Nappies, meals and all outings are included in the price, so there are no surprises afterwards.
