KDV Hallum De Parachute

Welcome to KDV Hallum De Parachute, our daycare centre at It Pypke 23 in the heart of Hallum. We are part of Kids First, an organisation that has been providing childcare in the provinces of Groningen, Friesland and Drenthe for 25 years. The needs of the children always come first with us. Our location is a so-called Inside-Out site: a homely place where indoors and outdoors blend seamlessly. We work with two horizontal groups, so babies and toddlers can each grow at their own pace. There is room for up to 28 children aged 0 to 4 years. Play is central to our approach. We provide toys and activities tailored to your child’s stage of development. Through thematic work and the Early Childhood Education (ECE) programme Uk & Puk we stimulate language, motor skills and social abilities. Our childcare staff regularly attend in-service training within Kids First so that we can apply new insights. The spacious garden invites outdoor play and discovery. We believe it is important that children get fresh air every day and learn about nature. Indoors we also have quiet sleeping corners where the very youngest can rest. In short, KDV Hallum De Parachute is a safe, friendly and stimulating environment where your child can develop into a confident person.
