KDV De Olijfboom

Welcome to KDV De Olijfboom, our small-scale and homely daycare center in Deventer. We are located in a separate building opposite the Evangelical primary school De Olijfboom at Enkdwarsstraat 5. As part of CKO KleurRijk, we provide care for up to 42 children aged 0 to 4 years. Everything we do revolves around a Christian, child-centered and personal approach. We see every child as a unique child of God and create an environment where fun, connection and attention are central. Our location is small and cozy, with a beautiful outdoor space where we love to play. We believe that outdoor play is essential for children's development. We work with different age groups: a baby group for the youngest, a toddler group and a playgroup. This structure allows us to provide tailored care and activities that match your child's developmental stage. Our pedagogical staff are professionally trained and carry out the Christian values of KleurRijk. We pray together with the children, sing Christian children's songs, read Bible stories and celebrate Christian holidays. Our activity program is diverse and development-oriented. We regularly do crafts, read picture books, make music and sing together. We also provide healthy nutrition, with fresh fruit and snacks throughout the day. For the youngest we provide bottle feeding and fresh fruit, while older children enjoy bread meals. We take allergies and special dietary needs into account. Safety is paramount to us. We have secure access and all our pedagogical staff have a Certificate of Good Conduct. We work according to a clear pedagogical policy focused on providing emotional safety, stimulating personal and social skills and transferring values and norms.
