Welcome to KDV and STH IKC de Saffier, a small-scale daycare centre located at Electrablauw 5 in the Rokkeveen district of Zoetermeer. We are part of gro-up and provide childcare for children aged 0 to 4 in a homely and safe environment. Our team of qualified pedagogical staff works closely with the primary school in the same building, allowing us to offer a continuous developmental path from baby to toddler. Play-based learning is at the heart of our approach. We use the ‘Piramide’ language method to stimulate language development from an early age. We also offer activities such as arts and crafts, reading aloud, and outdoor play in our own garden. We follow consistent daily routines, with rest, regularity and attention for each child as our guiding principles. For the youngest children, we provide bottle feeding tailored to their needs and a quiet sleeping area. Our centre is designed with different corners that match your child’s developmental stage: a soft baby area, a toddler and preschool section with stimulating toys, and a creative space where children can paint, build and explore. We work with horizontal groups, where children are grouped by age. This provides calm and familiarity, and allows our team to respond specifically to the needs of each age group. We believe in close cooperation with parents. Through the Parro app, we keep you updated on how your child’s day has gone. We also organise regular parent meetings and you are always welcome to drop by for a chat. We offer flexible childcare options, from half-days to full days, and adjust our opening hours to match parents’ working schedules.
