KDV & Peuteropvang De Blauwe Baron is located on the ground floor of public primary school De Vlieten at Anjer 2 in De Lier. Since December 1, 2022, we have been offering a warm and safe place for up to 40 children aged 0 to 4 years. Our daycare center works closely with the toddler care and after-school care provided at the same location, creating one continuous learning line from baby to grade 8. We are officially registered for early childhood education (VE), which means we align our activities with the developmental goals of the VVE programs. The groups are horizontally structured: babies, toddlers, and preschoolers are placed in separate age groups, ensuring each stage receives the right stimuli and rest. Our pedagogical staff follow the pedagogical policy of De Lange Keizer, focusing on attention, safety, and development. Our spaces are bright, fresh, and furnished with natural materials. There is a separate sleeping room for the youngest children and a large garden where children can run, build sandcastles, or simply enjoy outdoor play. We work with fixed daily routines, emphasizing rest, predictability, and warm attention. Parents can choose between half or full-day care; flexible contracts are negotiable.
