Elorah Vlaardingen Calvijnschool

Elorah Vlaardingen Johannes Calvijnschool is located inside the Reformed John Calvin School at Claudius Civilislaan 30, Vlaardingen. We provide daycare (KDV) for children aged 0 to 4 in a small-scale setting with a maximum of 24 children. The Bible is our starting point; from this conviction we embrace every child with love and attention. We work thematically: around a current topic we sing songs, read books and do arts & crafts every day with a variety of materials. Toddlers aged 2 and older follow a morning programme tailored to their age, preparing them playfully for primary school. Early childhood education (VE) is offered for these young children. Groups are horizontally structured: babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers are in separate age groups so that activities and care match exactly what the child needs. Our pedagogical staff provide calm, structure and personal attention; we purposely keep groups small to safeguard quality. Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Half-day care is possible. We value that parents and children feel welcome and safe; together we create a warm home where every child can grow in confidence.
