Eigen&Wijzer Peuteropvang Sint Martinus

Eigen&Wijzer Peuteropvang Sint Martinus is located on the ground floor of Dalton Kindcentrum Sint Martinus at Dominee L. Touwenlaan 3 in Makkum. We provide small-scale toddler care for up to eight children aged 2 to 4 years, 40 weeks a year. Our group is organised horizontally: all toddlers are together in one age-homogeneous group guided by consistent pedagogical staff. Our programme focuses on preparing children for primary school through play. We believe every child is unique and has a natural drive to develop. Loving care, child-centred practice, nature experience and development-oriented activities form the core of our provision. Toddlers can attend on several mornings each week; half-day attendance is therefore possible. Since 24 February 2025 we have been part of the Integral Child Centre (IKC) Sint Martinus, bringing childcare and education under one roof with a shared vision on growing and development.
