Eigen&Wijzer KDV/PO Sint Lukas

Welcome to Eigen&Wijzer KDV Sint Lukas, located at De Lanen 96 in Drachten. We are part of the Integral Child Center (IKC) Sint Lukas, where childcare and education for children aged 0-13 come together under one roof. Our location accommodates up to 32 children aged 0 to 4 years and has been officially registered in the National Childcare Register since January 24, 2025. At Eigen&Wijzer, we believe every child is unique and has a natural drive to develop. Our pedagogical professionals provide a safe and challenging developmental environment where children can discover, play, and have fun. We work in a child-centered way and pay great attention to nature experience and sustainability. The IKC is designed with a nature-inclusive playground and sustainable facilities such as water cycles and green roofs, through which children learn about sustainability in a playful way. Our horizontal group structure means children come together in age groups, contributing to a calm and organized environment. We offer preschool education (VVE), preparing children for primary school through play. Half-day care is possible, tailored to the needs of parents and children. As part of IKC Sint Lukas, we work intensively with the Catholic Jenaplan Primary School Sint Lukas. This collaboration ensures a seamless transition from childcare to primary education. We not only share the building but also vision and values: children learn to live and develop into balanced individuals with attention for themselves, others, and their environment. Our location is equipped with modern, sustainable facilities and offers a rich learning environment where children can grow at their own pace.
