Eigen&Wijzer KDV Oranjekwartier

Eigen & Wijzer Oranjekwartier is a small-scale daycare center for children aged 0 to 4 years, located at Koningin Wilhelminaplein in Amsterdam. We provide care for up to 29 children, giving each child the space to develop at their own pace. Our pedagogical professionals create a safe and familiar environment where children can discover, play and learn. Play-based learning is central to our approach. The group spaces are designed with cozy corners and challenging play materials that invite children to explore and learn by doing. We work with the VVE method 'Uk & Puk', where language development and vocabulary expansion are stimulated through play. Each child has their own mentor who closely follows and guides their development. Our outdoor area offers a unique piece of nature experience in the middle of the city. Children help care for plants, grow vegetables and participate in nature-oriented activities. The annual mud day is always a great success! We also regularly make trips in the neighborhood to discover the world around us. Healthy nutrition and daily outdoor play complete our care. We provide a warm and loving environment where your child feels at home and is optimally prepared for the transition to primary education.
